CFX HPC License Usage Question

I have a CFX license and a single HPC Pack license. From what I've read, this should allow me to use up to 10 cores. However, whenever I increase the number of partitions above 8, I get the following licensing problem error:

License Cap: ANSYS CFX Solver (Max 512K Nodes)
License Cap: Multiple Reference Frames
License Cap: Parallel
ANSYS LICENSE MANAGER ERROR
Not enough CFX Solver - HPC licenses 10/8.
Dependent feature CFX_SOLVER_PAR_PRO
C in AND keyword is not available.

License ID: License checkout failed.

Is there something I need to do to activate the CFX and HPC Pack licenses at the same time?

Where have you read the HPC license gives you 10 cores? Doesn't this error message say you just have access to 8?

My account manager at ANSYS said:

The HPC Pack allows you to solve using 10 cores on your local machine.

Additionally, while not explicitly for CFX, various websites (like the following) say that the HPC pack adds an additionaly 8 core capability:

However, the error message and the inability to run on more than 8 cores makes me think that I may actually only have access to 8.

ANSYS changes the licensing rules all the time, and there are so many different license packages I don't bother keeping track of them all. So you are going to have to talk to your ANSYS account manager to sort this out as the licensing on your machine obviously thinks it cannot use more than 8 processes.
