Modelling Loop Heat Pipe (effective thermal conductivity)

Hello. I am a user of FloEFD, often modelling heat pipe and vapor chamber as a heat spreader by assigning an effective thermal conductivity, rather than trying to simulate the actual phase transformation.
I was wondering if anyone could give me an advice on how to model a loop heat pipe, where the structure is separated into liquid and vapor lines. In this case, how can I model it using effective thermal conductivity? Or is there any other method of modelling the loop heat pipe?

Thanks for your help.

Hello Joe

I didn't model heat pipes yet. But maybe could it be a possibility to model the loop heat pipe as an assembly. By using several parts fitted together in the assembly you could assign different effective thermal conductivities to these different parts.

Florian
