Local and Global Co-ordinate system are not Same !

I have just started learning Ansys FLuent. To do so, i am following some tutorials from youtube. At one instant, i was needed to make a geometry in design modeller and i created a new plane (YZ ) and offset to along global X axis by -8 inches.

but my Local orientation is not same as global.
red=x, blue=z, green=y

so, when i did above steps (in italics) to create a plane, my plane was offset along blue axis in local co-ordinates, Why so?

also, i created the plane in global YZ. But, i appeared as local XY (parallel to global YZ). Why it is not shown same as that of global YZ ?

in other words, why local X is Global Y, local Z is global X and local y is global Z ?
why can't local x be global x and so on ?
