Velocity representation at exit
I have three ways to represent velocity (left to right in image below):
1. Velocity contours nodal values at outlet. 2. Velocity vectors at outlet. 3. Velocity contours (nodal values are unchecked) at outlet. https://preview.ibb.co/dpMzT0/def.jpg Q1. Which is the right way to represent the velocity? Q2. Why is velocity for 1st case (velocity contours nodal values) zero? |
Node values are values at the vertexes. If you don't check node values, then you are looking at face values.
By any chance do you only have 1 cell across your annulus? Then all your vertices are on walls and it makes sense your node values are 0 everywhere because of no-slip. |
