hi, I think you could do that by clicking on "File / Export" and then choose "File Format / IGES"

Best regards Delphine

Thanks Delphine, I tried with File/Export, but can't find any IGES file in my working directory. In text field i can see 1 iges body(s),0 face,0 edge, 0 vertex Regards, Vinod

Have you tried to save and exit after export? I don't understand what is the cause of it, but that's a problem I've already met several times. I hope this trick might help you.

as i think if you have any virtual part, it may not be exported, only real parts are exported into iges.

When you're exporting the IGES file are you specifiying the directory or using the browse option to specify the path? If not, then you should try this.

Also, it sounds like gambit is exporting the solid to IGES format. If you only want surfaces then you'll need to delete the volume first retaining the faces.

Hope this helps
