DPM model w/ Wave model - errors in documentation

Hi all!

I have noticed, when doing simulations with the Discrete Phase Model and the Wave model for spray breakup, that the Wave model is not implemented in FLUENT as described in the manual.

At injection, the Wave model will re-arrange the properties of the injected discrete phase parcel, so that fewer but larger droplets are created (mass is conserved). Turning off the Wave model or using the TAB model instead removes this effect.

There is nothing mentioned in the User's Guide about this. However, I have found references in the literature where the Wave model is described as often being accompanied by a collision model at injection. (The collision model in FLUENT has of course been turned off during all of my simulations).

Is there anyone who also noticed this? And is there documentation on the collision model within the FLUENT-version of the Wave model available somewhere?

Thank you, Henrik
