Colanar edges & Vertices: GAMBIT Issue

Hello

I am facing problem in making a face over an airfoil. It is giving me error

" the vertices & edges must be coplanar"

Can anyone guide me towards the solution. its very URGENT.

Regards

Re: Colanar edges & Vertices: GAMBIT Issue

its a difficult error:

For a face, every vertice MUST be in a plane. There is NO distortion allowed.

So the sollution: check every vertice and create them again!

Sometimes, it is not possible to have them in a plane, so try this:

Lets say, you have a square plane, that is distorded around its diagonaly axis (one vertices is outside the plane).

Now, simply produce two faces that are triangles, using each 3 vertices (3 vertices are ALLWAYS in a certain plane).

Hope, it helps Ralf
