FSI diffusion Terms

1 Attachment(s)
Hello!!

I am solving a FSI problem. In this regard, I used a realisable k-epsilon model for solving the problem.

In ANSYS Fluent solver, METHODS section which are all diffusion terms and which are all convection terms? so that I can specify the methods to them as per the journal I referred. I have also attached the screen shot of the journal image with this.

Thank You

Diffusion terms are always central differenced, you don't need to do anything and there is no option to change it anywhere.

In the Fluent GUI, the convective terms are specified in Solution Methods under Spatial Discretization. They have names like Momentum, Energy, Turbulent Kinetic Energy and so on. These are the convective terms. The default for the momentum equation and energy equation is second order upwind. Unless you solve additional turbulence models and so on, you don't need to do anything. It's still a good idea to verify it though.
