snappyHexMesh refinement visuals
 

Hi Foamers,

question regarding refinement regions in SHM. I have a mesh (pictured in the attached coarse.png) that I can view in ParaView and see the refinement regions. Once I up the cell count for my simulations to be run on the server, I can no longer see the circular refinement region, even when I zoom in on ParaView (see attached fine.png and fine_zoomed.png).

I've checked using VisIt too and that circular refinement region isn't visible. The checkMesh log on the simulations returns no errors.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Oh dear, I probably hit the refinement limit specified in snappyHexMeshDict.

Sorry for posting before properly investigating!!
