Automotive Simulation World Congress
Conference, Munich, Germany, June 7, 2016
Simulation is now an indispensable part of vehicle
engineering. Car, truck and off-highway vehicle makers
and suppliers worldwide are accelerating innovation with
the help of simulation to make vehicles smarter,
autonomous, safer, cleaner and efficient. They gather
annually at the Automotive Simulation World Congress to
share latest advances, examples and best practices in the
use of simulation for automotive innovation.
2nd edition of the international workshop on CFD and biomass thermochemical conversion, Leipzig September the 9th, 2016
Workshop, Hotel Pologne, Leipzig, Germany, September 9, 2016
I have the pleasure to announce the 2nd edition of the
international workshop on CFD and biomass thermochemical
conversion which will take place on September the 9th, 2016
in Leipzig, Germany.
The workshop covers all areas of CFD applications to biomass
thermochemical conversion, including (not limited to):
• Small scale combustion
• Medium and large scale combustion
ERCOFTAC - Best Practices in Combustion CFD - I.C. Engines, 2-3 Nov 2016, TU Darmstadt, Germany
Course, TU Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany, November 2, 2016
Design and operation of modern combustion I.C engines faces
the need of combining high efficiency with low pollutants
emissions. CFD has become a powerful tool in this sector.
Many models exist, each having a range of applicability,
computational cost and accuracy. Thus, CFD experts involved
in I.C. Engine simulations, given usual CFD skills, need
specific insight and knowledge in spray and combustion
modelling, in order to conduct thorough analysis. The
present course addresses this need.
