Numerische Berechnung turbulenter Strömungen in Forschung und Praxis
Course, Dresden, Germany, September 14, 2016
Der Kurs hat zum Ziel, Ingenieure der Industrie und
Forschung mit modernen Methoden der Simulation turbulenter
Strömungen vertraut zu machen. Er besteht aus 16 sorgfältig
aufeinander abgestimmten Vorlesungen namhafter Experten. Sie
Möglichkeiten und Grenzen auf und
vermitteln Grundlagen zur Qualitätsbeurteilung numerischer
Rechenergebnisse. Es besteht auch Gelegenheit eigene
intensiv mit den Referenten zu diskutieren.
ERCOFTAC - Best Practices in Combustion CFD - I.C. Engines, 2-3 Nov 2016, TU Darmstadt, Germany
Course, TU Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany, November 2, 2016
Design and operation of modern combustion I.C engines faces
the need of combining high efficiency with low pollutants
emissions. CFD has become a powerful tool in this sector.
Many models exist, each having a range of applicability,
computational cost and accuracy. Thus, CFD experts involved
in I.C. Engine simulations, given usual CFD skills, need
specific insight and knowledge in spray and combustion
modelling, in order to conduct thorough analysis. The
present course addresses this need.
14th Multiphase Flow Workshop - Short Course and Conference
Conference, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Dresden, Germany, November 8, 2016
Multiphase flows are of great interest to a large variety of
industries. The power generation, nuclear reactor
technology, food production, chemical process, aerospace and
automotive industries are all driving forces in this complex
The goal of the workshop is to bring together experimental
and numerical practitioners, and to foster discussion and
exchange of knowledge.
Experts from both areas are called upon to present their
research and application results to a worldwide audience.
