Hey everyone,
I started using ANSYS 14.0 due to my degree work. At the moment I am trying to rebuild some simple geometries. I have a problem while meshing my geometry with ANSYS Workbench: the geometry is (a simple model of) a counterflow double pipe heat exchanger. I modelled the geometry in ANSYS Design Modeler using "freeze" to separate the parts. I can generate a mesh as well (at least I can see it), but when I try to save it the report "at the export of meshes there are no overlapping geometries at components allowed. please correct this setting and export again." appears. I have no idea where the problem is ;-) It is a pretty simple geometry consisting of 3 cylindrical tubes. Anyone an idea? Thanks in advance Last edited by Annka; April 20, 2012 at 07:44. |
