[ANSYS Meshing] Controlling first layer thickness in near wall region -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

chris85 New Member Chris Join Date: Nov 2011 Posts: 16 Rep Power: 14	Ok I am meshing around some wind turbine blades. I have set an inflation layer with first layer thickness of 0.05 metres. I am controlling the y+ value using this as required for the k-epsilon model. However it is meshing with very small first layer thickness of below 0.00001 for some reason. This is a problem with the number of cells as well as inability to use the k-epsilon model. Can anyone provide a bit of help on this?
