MV78 is on a distinguished road
Hi,
I am using hypermesh to create a very simple mesh for a 2D axisymetric shell-and-tube heat exchanger. I need to refine my mesh in the viscous sublayer of the heat transfer fluid. I merely did that with quads and the biasing option. However, I don't understand how but the biasing introduces some skewness and reduces the mesh quality.

Thus, it prevents the simulation of the turbulent flow from converging correctly contrary to a regular mesh without biasing. Is it normal ?

Thank you in advance !
