Hi everyone in this forum
First of all, let me thank U for all your replies in this forum. You are helping whole time, which I am dealing with CFD simulations. Thanks You, guys.

So, back to my problem. Right now, I am dealing with my diploma thesis, which is focused on flow simulation inside industrial thumble dryer. It was recommend me by my friend to do it in ICEM CFD. I have to say it is quite good and provides me better mesh. Of course if it is working

I have problem with meshing of bypass flow over the drum. First attachment is how my blocking of the bypass geometry looks like. It is splited because of the heating block on the top of the cylinder. I split it in Ansys design modeler. Is it necessary to have it splited like this in ICEM CFD? When I try to see pre-mesh, there some blocks are meshed and some completly or particulary not meshed. the mesh is in second and third attachment.

When I exported geometry to the ICEM CFD, I didn't use healing buttons. I guess there are some holes, overlapping faces or something like that.

Could anyone help me, please? Thank You for all your replies...

Hello,

Are you sure that you associate all edges to curves?
if you have a problem at certain surface try the option of associate surface to face
To view how yor assosiation is going right click on edge --> project mesh shape
