Dear Friends,
I am trying to mesh a geometry in ansys workbench which has one semicircular volume and attached to a cylindrical volume(Refer fig- lobe3d). In order to facilitate sweep method i have separated the semicircular part from cylindrical part. (Plz refer attached figure- lobe). How can i create mesh in semicircular part which will be conformal with the meshing created on cylindrical volume? (The case is similar to flow through semicircular grooved bearing). I want hex meshing in all the parts. Kindly help. |

Quote:
1. Create one part that consists of semi circular thin ring and it should through hemisphere part too. 2. Split semi circular part (including ring that is part of this part) into four parts in this sequence in design modeler) 3. Now assign proper method |
