Hello, good morning.
I created a tetra mesh that have two fluid domains (oil and water). How can I create a material point or body in the tetra mesh for that the interface of the two domains be recognized by CFX-Pre? Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. |

I don't understand your goal fully! but if you want using an interface between 2 faces of 2 various zone, you must define a connection between the faces in ANSYS Meshing! |

Amin.z,
My problem is a catenary riser with a marine domain around. But I need study a fluid flow inside of the tube with a presence of leak orifice through which the fluid will leave and I will can study the dispersion on the sea. The difficulty is the CFX-Pre recognize the interface between the tube and the marine ambience once the two domains will be fluids. ---- Thanks |

still unclear!
do you have one face at face of tube and want to have 2 separate faces!? or you have 2 separate faces, but you want define an interface between them and CFX does not recognize them? |

Yeah... I want define an interface between them... it's just one shared surface that I define as "wall" at CFX-Pre but CFX doesn't recognize as "internal fluid - wall" and "wall - external fluid"...

You should have 2 separte faces between the zones!
Do you use Ansys geometry for modeling? Do you use form new part in its? I don't know about setup in cfx, but in fluent we should have 2 different faces and connect them in ANSYS meshing with using connect! |
