Default quad map mesh on subtracted circle in a rectangle

could you please tell me how can i make quad map mesh on this rectangle which is subtracted by a circle in it.

I make the mesh but i didnt subtracted the circle yet. when i try to make mesh on the subtracted rectangle, gambit doesnt let me to use map or submap. It allows only for Pave mesh but i want Quad map or submap.

You have to split the face, after you subtract the circle: see for example attached image.
You may need to set all the vertices to "end", to force map.

The split is not as that I posted, my lines were at 45˚, not 90˚.

it should not be so diffucult. i just want to mesh with quad but it can be tri or wedge near cylinder surface in a limited number. However the rest domain should be mostly quad.

I don't understand, you posted two pictures with overlapping meshes.
You have to take into account that you have a circle in your domain and you will not have perfectly quad aligned cells!

Yes, it works now. Thank you for your help. Dividing the section with 45 degree lines is helpful !

i need more help

I couldnt mesh efficiently quad inside of the domain. The surround and upper side of the circle is fine mesh, however i have to manage coarse quad mesh far from circle. But i coudlnt set the mesh properly.
What should i do?
