Hi guys, I am pretty new to ICEM and trying to mesh the hydro turbine. The plan was generating the volume mesh from the surface mesh. I used All Tri for the surface mesh and Tetra/mixed (Delauney) for the volume, but the volume mesh was quite weird. I have defined the body too. Anyone can help ??? Thanks Capture.jpg

looks like your associations are incorrect.
I would suggest you work your way through all the tutorials and start with easier geometries before you work with such a complex geometry. A blade itself is a challenge to mesh. In your case, a pattern would also be useful. Mesh one blade with the area around it and then copy that for the other blades (assuming that they are all the same...). |
