[ICEM] mesh not showing

hello
im trying to mesh a geometry using Mutizone method. so when I try to generate the 2D surface mesh using ICEM CFD and I check the premesh option after the recomputing finishes still it does not show the mesh. now I don't know whats going on here as im new to ICEM and would appreciate any help.

did you try multizone tutorial on ansys portal?

I am facing the same problem as well. I have followed the instructions in the multizone tutorial. Build diagnostic topology (all curves in red) > set global mesh size > part mesh setup > auto surface blocking. But the pre-mesh would not appear.

I have succeeded on a simpler geometry before so perhaps it is due to the complexity of my geometry. It is the fluid region around a propeller blade and its shaft.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello ICEM people,

same here.

I recomputed the premesh like I did already about 1,000 times in my ICEM project (and it worked the 1,000 times, I could see my premesh). The only difference now is that my total number of elements is much higher (Right-Click on Pre-Mesh (green arrow is there, but premesh is not showing), Pre-mesh info ->about 50,000,000 Quads, in 2D). So maybe it depends upon the amount of data generated.

Maybe a software problem (ICEM CFD 19.2)?
