How To Smooth 2D Surface

I made a 3D curve using a given set of points in DesignModeler, but when I came to create a surface from the curve, the edges of the surface did not match up with the 3D curve. I tried messing with it and found an option that would fix the discretized edges, but I can't seem to find the option anymore.

I've been looking through the help files and I still can't seem to find it. Can anyone help me with this issue? I'm afraid the 'non-smooth' surface will create issues when running the simulations.

I've attached a few pictures of the issues that I'm referring to. Thank you all in advance for your help.
