I'm required to come up with a few block topologies around a tangent ogive and other sharp nosed configurations for missiles and slender bodies.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. So far I can only think of one way to create 3D hexa blocks around a tangent ogive - is there anywhere I can find help regarding different topologies? I'm finding it difficult to visualise apart from what I have already thought of. I've provided a picture of the topology I have already considered. Does anyone have ideas of any other blocking configurations to go around a tangent ogive? I would really appreciate it. |

For this geometry a Perfect one will be C topology, which you have already achived. You can try other O or a H topology. But i think a C will give best results for your geometry.
