Hi Friends;

I want to simulate the flow in a Siphon Spillway and evaluate the vibration magnitude due to the flow inside the duct.

Note: before having a pipe flow inside a siphon we have a two-phase flow

Now I want to investigate the interaction of fluid and the structure of the spillway to understand the vibration effects on it.

Which software would you recommend me to use in order to complete my thesis?

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Hi
I have microsoft windows
as far as I know my problem should be solve with FSI, but I don't know which program(ansys CFX or ansys Fluent) is much more better.
I should mention that we have two-phase flow and also want to evaluate the vibration of the structure because of the water flow.
thanks a lot for your help

Both CFX and Fluent would work for your FSI simulation.. for some reason I have come across more CFX than Fluent for multiphase spillway simulqtions here in the forum so probably CFX would be it..
