FSI interfaces not connected

As you can see in the attached picture, there is a gap between the two domains that is not supposed to exist. (the displacements are amplified) The interface is somehow opened although data is exchanged and sometimes the solution converges (only in mechanical FSI with adiabatic walls, meaning without heat exchange).

In a fully coupled FSI approach the solution diverges, but I cannot identify the reason yet. It is possible that the gap has nothing to do with that. Nevertheless, I would like to solve that problem first.

The ANSYS.stdout tells me that the mapping was perfectly successful and the warnings refer only to the fact, that there are sometimes not enough stagger iterations.


Since there are no further errors related to the gap at the interfaces, I only post the ending of my ANSYS.mf file.
I hope that you can help me. Thank you in advance!!


edit:
I recognized that the gap gets smaller, if the the solution approaches convergence. There might be no gap at the end. But in my opinion there should be no gap at all any time!
