Hello everyone.

I want that a sphere(diameter=10mm)is inserted into a cylinder (diameter =20mm) at center point of cylinder.

How to mesh these grid?

Do I mesh each one respectively?

How to add some part with the other part?

Thank you.

Hi,

If you have stardesign you can make it very easily. Just draw the cylinder and the sphere, then press on the cylinder and using the ctrl botton press on the sphere, then press the SUBSTRACT botton in stardesing.

if you haven't stardesign but you have proam and prostar, make the grid in prostar and then use the "live, surface " command to make a shell for your geometry. delete the fluid cells and continue in proam to generate the grid.

if you have only prostar it is not so easy if possible.
