meshing in ccm+

IŽam new in using ccm+, i have to generate a mesh with equal number cells in both faces of a geometry(cyclic boundaries) because i have to match them later, what shall i do?

There is no way to generate an conformal mesh across a cyclic interface in current versions of STAR-CCM+.
Are you having trouble with the matching? |

Let someone do it for you in ICEM or GAMBIT.
I gave CD-Adapco a similar challenge some 4 weeks ago. No response yet. I told them that I would be able to make the mesh in 15 min in GAMBIT (I don't have it anymore). +4 weeks compared to 15 min. My thoughts are that they haven't started yet, I hope so. Otherwise it is kind of embarrassing. BR Kasper Skriver |
