how to model the fluid passing through a filter with pressure drop setting ?in my opinon porosity may be a choice. but definitions are too many(also have other tasks to do)!can I enter only a pressure drop to finish this task.Or finally the porosity is the only way.thank you.

First you calculate the alpha and beta porsity coefficients with the pressure drop curve of your filter.
The quality of filter modelisation depends on the number of layers you use. I can suggest to use at least 3 or 4 layers. Have a nice job |
