Hi everyone,

I am working on glass mould thermal analysis(trasient thermal)

Gob is a viscous ( fluid) element and has vertically a quiet bit velocity, going down into glass mould ( staying 2 seconds in mould and it has been transfered by another mould. At the same time the first mould waits (3 seconds) and then another gob comes

before the gob is inside the mould, its profile is defined by engineers environment.

is it possible to make this analysis in Ansys? moreover how can i spesify gob's velocity before entering to mould (according to regarding axis) ?

if I make it done, I''ll do all results into FLUENT.and that is possible ?

Hi,
I have 8 years of experience in CFD analysis. I have performed all kinds of CFD analysis in various CFD software (Ansys CFX, Fluent, etc) .

I need some more information for the project. Please send me a personal mail on rohansharmafree@gmail.com

Hi,

The simulations you mentioned about 'Gob' the basic question arises is

whether it is Newtonian or a non-Newtonian fluid?

If it is a Newtonian fluid, it can be done in solvers like OpenFOAM, Fluent, CFX etc.

Rest of the details we can send you in email.

As a first step towards our introduction, we would like to mention that we have a proven track record in CAD, CFD, CAE, FEA, Automation, Manufacturing, Web-Design and SEO. You can check our profile at: http://workshopwale.com and email us at: adarsh@workshopwale.com

then i think it can be readily solved in any CFD solver.
Kindly share the details so that we can estimate the things and proceed further
