Dear Friends
I want to use BC profile of mass flow at the inlet but it gives me the following error. The parameter 'Mass Flow Rate' in object '/FLOW:Flow Analysis 1/DOMAINomain 1/BOUNDARY:Boundary 1/BOUNDARY CONDITIONS/MASS AND MOMENTUM' is defined to be "Single Valued" but it depends on the following field valued variables: , x, y, z. do you know what I should do? |

You cannot set a massflow as function of x,y,z. The mass flow must be a single value. Something like 1 [kg/s]. The software will adapt the local velocity (nad possible Density through Pressure) such that the massflow is achieved.
The best solution would be to set the velocity as function of x,y,z. |
