Hi. I used to analysed a steady simulation of air inside an automobile which powered by battery. Now I would like to focus on the air simulation in side the battery box. If I re-simulate the whole automobile air domain, the huge mesh problem would lead to a very hard work, so I wonder whether or not I could get the battery box's temperature distribution and velocity distribution in my old calculated model, by that, I would directly use the information as boundary conditions in my new battery box simulation.
If I could do that, would you please tell me where I could find some similar cases for study. Thank you very much. |

This sub-modelling approach is a standard technique. Have you searched the literature for examples of it? Or asked CFX support?
