zhang.limin is on a distinguished road
Did anyone know it is possible to coupling Ansys CFX with other software such as SPS(stoner), that is a hydraulic transient analysis (water hammer) software,
as I know SPS has ability to output and read parameter each time step into/from a excel (cell )file, for example, valve opening percentage and pressure,

can CFX can read pressure every iteration? and write valve opening percentage (or opening) every iteration?

Thanks,
Limin

If you only want crude coupling onto boundary condition values like you describe this should be able to be done in user fortran.
