CFD post:How to let numbers on contours appeared?

Hi I have a question deals with CFD post I need to let numbers on contours level appeared as shown in picture? How I can do that? any help please?

When I have had to do that sort of chart for publications I always used Tecplot. You can also do it in matlab, and python.

Thanks ghorrocks for the reply. You mean this draw method not available in CFD post ? Furthermore where I can find these codes: Tecplot and python?

Tecplot has a reader converter/reader.
Python is for the coders - you are going to have to export data from CFX, write a program to read it in and plot it. If coding is not your thing then forget python. |

Sorry currently I want to try plot the contour with Grahper 8 it has the ability to draw contours so I need to export or make a data file to use it?

Looks like Grapher supports CSV import. So export a plane (file/export) from CFD-Post and import into Grapher. You might need to adjust the CSV file to get the format right.

Correct, it is commercial software. It is very good and if you want some serious post-processing power it will do you well.
If you want free software then go for python. |
