I don’t understand exactly how work a stage interface ?


I simulate a rotating blade passage and a steady vane passage. How is this simulation made ?



Moreover, in CFX guide, it is say that the flow properties are circumferentially averaged but at what position are taken these properties, the position just just before the interface ? And is the circumferentially averaged just made on the size of my sector (for example 15deg) ?
