Hi there,
I would like to blow out of a specific point in cfx. what is the best way to do this? I tried to declare a source point using "continuity". however when im doing so ansys wants me to add values for turbulent dissipation and turbulent kinetic energy.....I dont know where to get those values from or if there are values which i can assume.....has anyone here experience with that or any other idea how to blow from a point? is there maybe a possibility to declare a point in the design modeler and declare it in the setup as an inlet or sth? |

Perhaps, if you do not need to input turbulent quantities you can just set them to zero (I am not completely sure about this approach).
Otherwise try to create a sub domain instead of a source point and (thus you need to create a body in the cad) in the table settings >Sources>Momentum Source/Porous Loss>General Momentum Source specify your x,y,y source terms for the momentum equations. |
