Hi

Are existing source terms in CFX linearized (for example buoyancy, cavitation models)?

As in, are the linearization coefficients already taken into consideration?

Some yes, some no. I know the surface tension one is not very well linearised and that is why surface tension slows CFX down so much. But most of the rest are well linearised.

A crude way to tell is to run a model with and without the model and see how much it slows down. If convergence is much slower then the linearisation is probably not too good.
