Hi,
I'm a student and I have just started to use CFX 4.4. I need to know how to plot the value of y-plus at the cell next to the walls. I'm using Visualise as post-processor. I'm thankful for all the help I can get Best regards Dennis |

If I do not remember wong then the values for the nearest cell to the wall is actually stored at the wall. So the best approach is to plot the y-plus value at the walls.

Hi Dennis,
Under CFX-4, if you want to view the YPLUS values in a post-processor you must add an user scalar equation. Then go VARIABLE NAMES and enter 'YPLUS'. CFX-4 will store the yplus values at walls in the dump file. Regards, cfd guy |

Hi there,
If you put WALL PRINTING in the output options location in the .fc file, you will yet the values of the y-plus in the .fo file. James Date |
