Hi
I am working in simulating cyclone separator by using CFX4.4. I have created mech generation and get convergence with turbulent flow by using (k-epsoln and RSM) turbulence model. Now, I am working with fined generation (about 800,000 grid cells). However, this talkes more time. What I can do to restart my work in the last iteration case if the computer closed suddenly. If I typed (LATEST) in restart file number, the program will start from the last iteration number. I am looking forward to replying. |

If your computer crashes during the simulation, you won't be able to restart it. The best thing is to do regular backup's, e.g. once a day, and restart from it.
