Hello modellers,
I am currently generating meshes for CFX 5.6 with CFX-Build. I prefer using a structured, PATRAN style mesh with hex elements (bricks). I have resisted using the new CAD2Mesh product thus far but just recieved the new release in the mail. I know that Build will soon not be supported, so I'm faced with a decision. 1. Are you people, the users, happy with CAD2Mesh? Is it easier to use than Build? How has the transition from Build to CAD2Mesh gone for other users? 2. I am a linux user and see that CAD2Mesh is not fully functional in linux. Is this a problem? 3. Am I going to be able to create structured hex elements with CAD2Mesh? Thank you for you help and happy meshing, Jonathan |
