Dear friends,

Would it be a problem if I had different temperature on the solid side and the fluid side of an interface?
As per the CFX User Guide, it is probable to have a discrepancy between the above-mentioned temperature. How large could it be?

Any idea would be appreciated.

BR,
Sasan

The control volumes will be at different temperatures on either side of the interface, that is how the heat transfer at the interface is implemented.

Or have I misunderstood you? If so, which temperatures are you talking about?

I mean the interface between the solid domain and the fluid domain has two sides, one of which belongs to the solid domain and the other one belongs to the fluid one. However, they are situated in one place and GGI interface connects these two sides together.
Is there any problem when the "areaAve(T)" reports different temperature for these two sides?
