CFX5.7.1 Solver error

Default CFX5.7.1 Solver error

In CFX5.7.1 solver after 18 itterations, a new window with titel Solver-prm.exe is appeared in the screen.

under this title, it said ' solver-pvm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience'.

any help from any body thanks

I'm not sure but what I would say is that 1.make sure that the solver licence is installed properly and the server is running. 2.check your grid for negative volumes, skewness, etc. 3.make sure you accurately and correctly defined all the parameters in the cfxpre. thus ur boundary conditions, material selection, etc. 4.the mode of running, either serial or parallel. make sure that all the "seats" have not been taken and that u've some for it. This only applies if there're more than one person using the licence. say, you only have 2 seats and 4 parallel package, and some one is running on all the 4 parallel mode, u can only run on ONE serial mode.
