I am trying to create an animation of a transient run and save it as an mpeg. I have done this many times before but now it is not working correctly.

The mpeg writes but obviously not properly as the mpeg is zero size and fails to play.

Any ideas? Thanks Jon

Assuming that you have enough space to store the mpeg file, have you checked if all the transient files are problem free? I suspect that one of your trn file is not written correctly. The quickest way is to check the size of your trn files.

You can always write out the .jpgs as well and use a third party software to generate the mpeg.

If you're using this approach, I'll suggest you to write the PNG file. Quality is much better this way.

Quicktime Pro isn't free, but it only costs $30 USD.
