Is it possible to transfer the mesh from Ansys Workbench simulation to CFX Pre? Can I mesh my geometry in "workbench simlation" and define the physical problem in CFX Pre? Which format?

You could write your mesh to an ANSYS input file then load it into Pre. At version 11 you'll be able to load the .dsdb file directly into Pre.

Thank you Robin, your suggestion sounds great. Till now I have no iddea how to open the Workbench simulation mesh in Ansys as well - Ansys does not support .dsdb files, does it? Daiga

To load your Simulation into the old ANSYS gui, just select it on the project page and follow the links on the left hand side. There should be one about opening the environment.

Dear Robin! Ansys opens my mesh ans show each region in different colour, but it does not recognize any volume, surface... - after mesh export through cdwrite,db... I can import the mesh in CFX, but I am not able to choose any region (in Workbench simulation the geometry of part consisted of 3 regions),face, interface...Do I need to define surfaces and volumes again in Ansys??? For now, yes. Although the regions might come through if you create named selections in Simulation first (not sure, but you could easily test this). When version 11.0 comes out you'll be able to create 2D regions directly in Pre.
