Is it possible to model the movement of a solid body propelled by the fluid forces where the displacement is large ie where the body moves as much as 10x the length scale of the body (a body moving down a pipe). I know earlier versions used more of a mesh "stretching" technique which would have mesh deformation problems.

Are there any other packages than can handle such a mesh motion?

Hi,

CFX11 claims to have some capabilities in this area. I have not personally used it. Contact CFX support and ask them.
