friction losses

hii,

how do you calculate the friction losses in a Diffuser flow using CFX? I would like to separate out the frictional losses from the other losses that occurs in a diffuser.

Hi,

Depends on exactly what you are trying to get. Some possibilities are to look at the wall shear stress or total pressure of the fluid or otherwise you can do a momentum balance from the inlet to outlet.
