Hi,
How can I use a continuous colour gradient in a contour plot in CFX 10.0, instead of the constant colour bands? It was the default option in earlier versions. It must be quite simple, but I just can't find it now in CFX 10.0. Thanks, Magnoli. |

The best way to do this is to increase the number of contours (i.e. # of contours) to something high like 1000, which will give you the effect you're after .

This could be a work around, but, in my problem, the processing time is increasing proportionally to the number of contours. In a batch run the total time would be prohibitive for this solution. Is the continuous colour gradient not available in CFX10.0 for contour plots?

Sure it is. Colour the plane instead of using a contour on the plane.

Thanks, Dr.! That's what I needed and the processing is as quick as it should be.
