Hello, fellas.
Iīve been having trouble with local parallel runs. My system: CFX 11 with SP1 Win XP x64 up-to-date Intel Q9450 4 GB DDR3 ASUS P5Q Dlx When I try to set a local parallel run, using PVM or MPICH2, the same error happens: "cfx5 partitioner not found" (or something like this) I know that other have already reported the same bug, but I havenīt found a solution. Does anyone can help me? In the same topic: any report of this bug running under Linux? Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
It has nothing to do with the hardware. Either you did not get a full CFX installation, there is a problem with the installation, the paths have got stuffed up or something like that. It possibly is also a licensing problem but unlikely as licensing errors are usually clearly described as such. Did you install CFX with admin rights? If you installed without admin rights it might be able to change the system path variable. What are you trying to do? Start from command line or solver manager? Glenn Horrocks |

I had this problem also.
What I had to do is go to the Solver tab, then browse manually for the solver executable. |

Yes, indeed.
I received the fix from my support rep. You should ask yours. It is a small simple fix that points the correct solver according to the ARCH of the processor. Regards, cfd guy |
