Recently, I have been trying to use the SST SAS turbulence model in my simulation. Under this turbulence model, there is a Bate function--Zonal LES Option. I have read through the user manual, but little instruction about this function.

So, is there anyone use this function successfully before? Does it have any requirement on the mesh, or anything else?
Thank you in advance!
