create sub region on 2D surface

I'm trying to figure out a way to divide a single 2-D surface into multiple regions. Later in Pre, I want to have one of these regions as the inlet and the other as another BC (wall).
I presume this can be done in designmodeler? |

yes, use imprint faces operations of extrude or similar ops.
