hello everyone, I have a question: how does CFX-ANSYS calculate torque? what is the torque function in CFX? I have simulated a micro hydro turbine(Axial) but i have big difference in torque and efficiency between experimental data and CFX data.
how can i calculate torque manually? |

How does CFX calculate torque? By integrating the pressure and viscous forces over the surfaces, about a reference axis. Isn't that obvious?
If your results are not matching experimental data then try to tips here http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansys..._inaccurate.3F |
