I need a help from you all.Actually Im doing a Project on Diesel Particulate Filter(Catalytic Converter).I need to analyze the pressure drop of the exhaust gas flowing through the Porous media(Knit steel wire mesh).I did my modeling in Solidworks,now im trying to mesh it in the Ansys CFX.Can U tell me How to mesh and how to create the boundry condition

This is all covered in the tutorials. There is even an example of a catalytic converter from memory.

There is no information regarding meshing.Also the tutorials refer to the old version.Can U refer any other link

The CFX tutorials are in the documentation and are the same version as your installation.
The CFX Meshing tutorials are available on the ANSYS Community page on ansys.com |
