dear Ghirghidov,

you mean fluid region? i have add fluid region and add value for suspended sedimentation but after run simulation there is no sediment elevation.

Or you mean, i have to definition for 2 fluid region?

thank you

Hans

Dear Hans.

Yes that's exactly what I mean but in postprocessing you have to check out SS as concentration. Unfortunately you will not be able to see river bottom (for example). :-(

dear Ghirghidov,

I use F3d 9.3, i can see the sediment as packed sediment concentration and my problem now is why all sediment are uplift in all areas, not around circular piles? i use 1m/s velocity for 0.6m diameter piles. Am I wrong in boundaries?

I am not sure that using velocity boundary is correct. I believe you have to use water level (pressure) at boundaries.
Regards.

Hi hans_ina

In FLOW-3D Version 9.4 you have define a componment or you input a stl-file.
Then you can edit the componment proporties to "packed sediment".
